Charlene Lim grew up a shy child and teenager. Her lack in confidence prevented her from discovering her interest in sport. In her early twenties, however, she went through what she called a second teenagehood – a confusing time both mentally and physically. She started thinking about the future. Exactly who and how would she become? That’s when she found yoga.
Her dedication to Ashtanga yoga manifested itself both physically and mentally; a flourishing of both body and mind. Her confidence was greatly improved and she suddenly found herself capable of things she had previously thought impossible.
Charlene now runs her own yoga school Trika Yoga in Bristol. She also finds time for rock climbing, cycling, swimming and snow sports.
