The Ethicurean relaunch event

Great night yesterday celebrating the relaunch of The Ethciurean. There's the beautiful new kitchen and revamped front of house area, but the best thing was the new menu, one that focuses on the 'whole vegetable, the whole garden, the whole gut and the whole table', with many small dishes designed to be shared. Matthew and Iain took us around the walled garden too, showing us innovative ways of using fungi and their no-dig gardening approach.

We also got a tour of the Barleywood Orchard apple juice and cider barn down at the bottom of the walled garden. Beautiful small batch produces. The keeved cider is absolutely worth trying
