Lasagna After the Storm

Some of the best things we film are the ones nobody scheduled.

The day before we shot episode 3 of The Wilder Kitchen, we cooked a venison lasagna on a beach close to home. It had been storming all day. By the time we got down to the water, the sky had cleared and the light was extraordinary.

So we made an extra little film.

You can plan a shoot as carefully as you like, but the weather on the west coast of Scotland doesn’t care. Sometimes you just have to be there when it turns.
