Do Ferment – Book Photography

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Matthew Pennington and Nicola Cradock on their book Do Ferment, part of the acclaimed Do Books series.

Our collaboration has roots that go back more than a decade. In the early days of my career, I worked with Matthew and his brother Iain at The Ethicurean, their celebrated restaurant in Somerset. Those projects became defining early experiences for me, and friendships that have lasted ever since.

With The Ethicurean now closed, it was a privilege to reconnect creatively – this time capturing the photography for Do Ferment. The book offers an accessible, inspiring guide to fermentation, encouraging readers to embrace gut-friendly foods and discover the joy of making things fizz.
