Brown in Town Accidentally Wes Anderson

Some shoots give you perfect light and a cooperative sky. This wasn't one of those. David and Saffron brought their new made-to-measure collection down to Weston-super-Mare on a day when the seafront had other ideas, and we shot through all of it. We had a loose thread running through the day too, something accidentally Wes Anderson about the place. The faded symmetry, the off-season quiet, the colours that shouldn't work but do. Clothes worn in real conditions, by real people, in a place that wasn't trying to be anything other than itself.
