Autumn on the Isle of Mull with Banjo Beale
Some jobs you just don't want to end.
I spent two days on the Isle of Mull with interior designer Banjo Beale, known for BBC's Banjo and Ro's Grand Island Hotel and Designing the Hebrides, and his dog Grampa, making a social-first film for Visit Scotland. The idea was simple: Banjo shows us his favourite places on the island, travelling between them in a van roughly the size of a garden shed. Grampa had the best seat.
I've loved Scotland since I first came here, and autumn on the west coast is something else. Wet, bright, changing every ten minutes. You stop trying to plan around it and start working with whatever it gives you.
Thanks to Visit Scotland for having us, and to Banjo and Grampa for being such easy company.
Autumn on the Isle of Mull is out now.
