Stories Woven in Bristol – The Hudson Aran
Some projects remind you why you love doing this work.
For Wool Month, I worked with Peregrine on Stories Woven in Bristol, a campaign celebrating the people who make this city what it is. From chefs and farmers to tattoo artists and tailors, each of the nine stories follows someone whose craft and character reflect the spirit of Bristol, all connected by the Hudson Aran jumper.
I co-produced, shot, and handled all post-production, working closely with Peregrine’s brand manager to keep the process simple and closely connected to the people we featured. Every story was captured in a place meaningful to the person featured, with no sets or staging, just real people in real spaces.
A jumper as the thread, people as the heart.
Deliverables: a main montage ad, individual videos for each participant, a set of colour and black and white photos of each participant and a montage of everyone in front of the background, all in landscape, portrait and square formats.
